ICC Lifts Ban from Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif

International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced to lift ban from former Pakistani captain Salman Butt and fast bowler Mohammad Asif of playing domestic and International Cricket and allowed them to play all types of cricket from 1st September 2015 while ban from Mohammad Aamir is also going to be lifted from 1st September.

Aamir, Asif and Butt were banned from playing Cricket in 2010 when they were caught doing spot fixing in test series against England. they were also jailed in England and banned from playing all types of Cricket. but now ICC has allowed all three players to play Cricket. Salman Butt is 30 years old, Asif is 32 years old and Aamir is 23 years old which means they can still play for Pakistan for few more years.

they key question is will these three players be able to give same performance as they were giving till 2010. Salman Butt is a really good opening batsmen while Asif and Aamir are very talented fast bowlers. but after staying away from domestic and International Cricket for 5 years it might not be easy to give same performance as they were giving till 2010.
