Moin Khan Becomes New Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team

Pakistan Cricket Board PCB on Monday announced to nominate Former Pakistani wicket keeper captain Moin Khan as new Chief selector of Pakistan Cricket team replacing Iqbal Qasim who given his resignation in June.

Moin Khan is nominated as Chief Selector after consultation between PCB officials and Chairman Najam Sethi also approved his name.

Moin Khan is considered one of the best wicket keeper in history of Pakistan Cricket who played 69 tests and 219 ODI matches for Pakistan. Moin was also in Pakistan team of 1992 that won the World Cup. He also remained captain of Pakistan team for some period.

After being appointed as Chief selector Moin Khan talked to media and said that my task is to prepare the Pakistani team for the Cricket World cup 2015. he also said that working as Chief Selector of Pakistan team will be a big challenge for me but i will accept this challenge and try to win it.

Before Moin Khan Iqbal Qasim was Chief selector of Pakistan team who given his resignation after Pakistan lost all three group matches of Champions trophy 2013 last month.

Moin Khan played 69 tests and 219 ODI matches for Pakistan. he taken 200 catches in 219 ODIs that he played for Pakistan. he was very popular for his sweep shot on which he used to hit boundaries on the leg side.

Here is picture of Moin Khan as wicket keeper of Pakistan in the final of 1992 World Cup final against England that Pakistan won. Now field of Moin Khan is not wicket keeping but Selection and the mission is 2015 World Cup. we also know Moin is a hard work and honest man. now the important factors are if he will get support from other officials in the Pakistan Cricket? and will luck will support him?
