England To Face India In Champions Trophy 2013 Final

World Champions India reached the Final of Champions Trophy 2013 on Thursday by defeating Sri Lanka in second Semi Final by 8 wickets which means they will face England in Final of Champions Trophy on Sunday 23rd June. England qualifies for Final after beating South Africa in semi final yesterday.

Today India got a big win over Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in 2nd Semi final and remain unbeaten in the tournament. In Cardiff conditions were good for bowling. Indian captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first. this decision of Dhoni proved to be right and Sri Lankan found it really tough to bat.

Sri Lankan team scored 181 runs in 50 overs for loss of 8 wickets. captain Angelo Mathews was top scorer with 51 runs. Ishant Sharma and Ashwin taken 3 wickets each.

Indian openers once again given good start to their Batsman and scored 77 runs for opening partnership. India got the target in 35 overs for losing just 2 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan was once again top scorer for India who made 68 runs.

it seems like that India's batting is unstoppable and this is why they are unbeatable so far in CT 2013. lets see if England will be able to stop Indian Batsmen or not? Final will be played on Sunday 23rd June in Birmingham.
