Profile of Sri Lankan Legend Cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan

One of the best Bowler ever born in history of Cricket Muttiah Muralitharan is retired today from test cricket after playing his last test against India and completing his 800 wickets.

According to most of Cricket Experts Muttiah Muralitharan was the best spin bowler ever born in history of cricket and it will be almost impossible to break his record of 800 wickets in test cricket.

following is a small profile of  this legend Cricketer from Sri Lanka. Murali has four brother in which he is the eldest. he become a spin bowler at age of 14 while before it he was a Pace bowler. He played his first test against Australia at age of 20 in 1992 and got 3 wickets in this match. in 1997 he become first Sri Lankan bowler who got 100 wickets in test matches.

Murali got 16 wickets against England in a test match in 1999. in 2007 he made the record of most wickets in test matches by getting 709 wickets and in 2009 he made record of most wickets in ODI cricket by getting 515 wickets. 

on 22 July 2010 in his last test match he completed his 800 wickets in test cricket and retired from test cricket. Murali has announced that he will continue to play ODI and T20 Cricket for Sri Lanka.
